Congratulations to all of the competitors at last week’s cross country competition. The children had a great day. A big well done to our gold medalist Cillian in Eoin’s class.

Our creative schools’ coordinator Blaithin has been in to visit each class about the initiative. The children voted on their favourite topics of interest. We will look at these results to guide us to our next step.
We are focusing on well-being for the rest of the month of March and April. The children will have a calendar in their homework folder and we hope parents will join their child in completing as many well-being activities as possible throughout this time.
Shellybanks ETNS has been selected by the Arts Council of Ireland to participate in their new Creative Schools Initiative. On Tuesday Blaithin Quinn, the Creative Associate assigned to our school, met with parents at a drop-off Coffee Morning to discuss the work done with the school and tell us more about the next steps. Please check the Weekly Bulletin to take the survey to let us know about any creative skills (in ANY field) you’d like to contribute to this effort.
