We will have weekly lessons until December with music teacher Nora. The cost is 14 euro per child for 10 sessions. We have purchased ukuleles using the Covanta fund. We have been eager to teach the children an instrument and the ukulele is very good for teaching melody, composition and harmony and it is great to sing along to. The other third class and second class will have lessons later in the year.
The PTA Annual General Meeting will take place at school on 2 October. If you have any questions about joining the PTA in advance of the meeting, please don’t hesitate to email! pta@shellybanksetns.ie
