IT Update

This term Eoin Connolly from Cocoon will be working with Senior Infants (Áine), Second class (Martin) and Fourth Class (Fiona). The focus of these lessons is Digital Literacy and this will run for 6 weeks.

Pyjama day

The Student Council have decided to run a Pyjama Day on Friday the 29 th of November. On this day you can wear your pyjamas to school and bring a teddy bear. We will then have a cosy afternoon with our teddy bears and a movie. The Student Council would like to raise money for Inner City Homelessness charity. If you take part in Pyjama Day members of the Student Council will collect donations of €2. Please remember to still wear your coats, warm pyjamas/ clothes underneath and sensible shoes as we will have a normal school day with assembly and yard time.

Well done to all of our Fourth class pupils who entered Trinity College’s Book of Kells creative competition before the mid-term break. We’ve just received the exciting news that one of our pupils, has been awarded a merit for his entry. Congratulations!

Student Council

The student council meets with Aisling or Rebecca and they work with the children to hear their thoughts and ideas about how to make school even better.

Shoebox Appeal

Final reminder: Shoebox Appeal

This year we will be doing the shoe box appeal in aid of Inner City Helping Homeless, for those who are homeless and those in direct provision. If you wish to contribute please leave your shoe box (labelled male/female) outside Miriam’s office. The deadline for bringing these in is Monday Dec. 9th. Thank you in advance for supporting this cause.
